The Command Post vs OmegaMTG vs NOT THE THREAT vs Magic Addict HQ vs The Sideboard Society vs ShyTwilii's Army

BATTLE OF THE DISCORDS! CPEDH vs. MAHQ vs. NOT THE THREAT vs. OMEGA MTG vs. TWILII ARMY vs. SIDEBOARD SOCIETY Six Discord communities approach the battlefield, each as its own collective, to fight for their right to be called "THE BEST." Which will you be fighting for? The choice must be made. All hype and competition aside though, this is meant to be a casual, friendly experience for our Discord communities to come together and play the game we all love - regardless of the Bracket being played! So, in the spirit of casual fun, please review the following rules & details for this event: TOURNAMENT DETAILS This Tournament will last 6 weeks and go from 8/1/26 through 9/12/26. Format is OPEN PLAY Commander! You may organize a game of any Bracket. Honest pre-game Rule 0 conversations must occur prior to the start of every game. A "Rule 0 Questionnaire" will be provided in the rule-0 channel and should be utilized to help guide these discussions with your pods. You can use any number of LEGAL decks throughout the tournament (aka: no Banned cards - link to current banlist below). Shuffles & cuts must happen on screen. One free Mulligan, then standard London Mulligan rules apply. Platform: Convoke (Moxfield is permitted for use as well). Proxies are allowed. Prize will be bragging rights & the elevated pride in your Discord community knowing it's the best 💪 And all the fun you had too, of course! LEADERBOARD STRUCTURE Points-based Leaderboard: Points will be calculated and tracked, however, a member from each Pod will need to report the results of their games in the report-battle-results channel. An admin will then report those results to the Leaderboard, which can be viewed Live by all at anytime. There is no cap on the # of games players can engage in throughout the event. Even though some servers will have more participants than others, the leaderboard adjusts points automically, rendering any participant disparities inconsequential. Players will earn points for the server to which they have pledged, thus, the points of individual players will not be tracked on the leaderboard, only the collective points earned by each of the four Discord communities. COORDINATION It is open play, so over the course of the 6-week tournament, players can/should actively seek out & coordinate games with members of the other servers in the looking-for-battle channel, which will go Live on 8/1. Be sure to specify the Bracket you are looking to play and @ the "BattlePlayer" role to ping all participants to see who's interested. Given the cross-discord nature of this event, we wanted to be sure each match has an even distribution of players from amongst the servers. Therefore, no single pod can have more than 1 player from any given server - pods must look like one of the following: 1v1: Two players from different servers. 1v1v1: Three players from different servers. 1v1v1v1: Four players from different servers. 1v1v1v1v1: Five players from different servers. 1v1v1v1v1v1: Six players from different servers. 2v2+: Up to 4 same-server pairs (8 players max/total).
